Case Study Workshops

The objective of the Best Local Land Use Case Studies developed for the Ohio Lake Erie Commission is to illustrate a “triple bottom line” (i.e., financial, community, and environmental) decision-making process for developing site plans for multi-objective land development projects. These case studies have been assembled in a format that can be distributed as well as used in case study workshops with developers, local governments, and their design and/or review professionals.

A series of 4 workshops were scheduled for May 2010 utilizing the Case Studies and the decision-making process. Materials, information on the workshops, and registration details are included below.

The Ohio Coastal Training Program is a partnership of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of WIldlife and Office of Coastal Management, Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve, Ohio Sea Grant College Program, and the Ohio Lake Erie Commission.
